Each DTI is laser marked, detailing the bolt diameter, target stress, and "TS" to denote the washer as a Target Stress DTI. The bolt diameter and target stress are marked in smaller text along the OD for inspectors, to confirm parameters after installation.

Using a longer stud bolt to accommodate the DuraSquirt Washer may not be necessary. The uncompressed thickness of the DuraSquirt Flange Washer is 0.354", and should fall within tolerance to still allow acceptable thread protrusion from the nuts on either side of the stud bolt. However, if desired, a stud bolt 1/4" longer may be used to accommodate the added thickness of the washer. When an additional F436 washer is used on the flange opposite the DuraSquirt washer, a stud bolt 1/2" longer should be used.
