Function:
The Multilift that Peinemann developed is built to be able to drive on narrow walkways. Because often only a limited load can be imposed on these walkways, the lifter is made of anodized aluminum and weighs only 150KG/330LB. From the walkway platform, the Multilift can exchange electric motors up to a weight of 500kg/1100LB located at a maximum height of 2.96 meters (10ft). The transportation of the electric motors on the Multilift should best be done with the electric motors in the lowest possible position in order to maintain stability.
Ease of use:
The Multilift was primarily developed for safe working, ease of use and maneuverability. Therefore the machine has two wheels with brakes on the sides, 1 castor wheel in the back and two castor wheels on the outer ends of adjustable arms. These arms can be moved together for easy maneuverability on the walkways and be spread out for stability once reaching for the higher located objects. The multilift also comes standard with a lifting hook to lift objects in hard to reach area’s and has an optional turnable table which, for instance, can be used for exchanging registers in burners.
Lifting system:
The hydraulic lifting cylinder with safety valve is connected to 2 steel cables which lift the table and is manually controlled by using a hydraulic pump fitted at the back of the machine. The lifting system has a three telescope sections to reach the desired height. For safety, the up and down operations is done by the hydraulic pump with a two-way valve so the movement of the load going down is also done in a controlled way.
Lifting and transport facilities:
The Multilift is equipped with 4 lifting points and a lifting sling to (un) load the machine by using a crane. All Multilifts are CE approved, 3rd party tested and Atex zone 2 compliant.
