304 Stainless Steel all thread rod is manufactured from 304 stainless steel and tested to meet ASTM A193 and A320 Grade B8, where specified below. ASTM A193 & A320 Grade B8 all thread rod is manufactured from carbide solution treated AISI 304 stainless steel , tested to meet the stringent chemical and mechanical requirements for use in high temperature and high pressure service. Dimensional specifications are governed by ASME B18.31.3. A193/A320 B8 all thread rod having diameters above 1" are most common 8UN (8 threads per inch). 304 stainless steel all thread rod is for general use in harsh atmospheric conditions and some corrosive environments. Grade B8 stainless steel all thread rod is for use in pressure vessels, valves, flanges, and fittings for high temperature or high pressure service, or other special purpose applications. Material is domestic where specified.
