Grade C All Metal Lock Nut, Plated

Grade C all metal locknuts are made to the specifications of Industrial Fastener Institutes standard IFI 100/107. Dimensional specifications are governed by ASME B18.16.6. All metal lock nuts are resistant to high temperatures and high chemical exposures, as they are made from one material. Available in zinc plated finish. Zinc plating sacrifices itself, corroding before the base material, offering added corrosion resistance.

IFI 100/107	IFI 100/107 establishes the dimensional, mechanical and performance requirements for three grades of prevailing-torque type steel hex nuts, in sizes No. 4 thru 1 1/2 in., and two grades of prevailing-torque type steel hex flange nuts in sizes 1/4 thru 3/4 in.
ASME B1.1 UNC & UNF Class 2B	Specifies the thread form, series, class, allowance, tolerance, and designation for unified screw threads.
