18-8 stainless steel finishing washers are machined to be sturdier and provide a neater appearance than standard washers. 82° flat and oval head screws sit flush within them and provide a finished appearance. Stainless steel fasteners are commonly used in applications that require general atmospheric corrosion resistance, such as chemical and food processing equipment. Stainless steel has a higher corrosion resistance than carbon steel.
