The ASTM A307 specification covers carbon steel bolts and studs ranging from 1/4" through 4" diameter. A307 is an economical low carbon material often manufactured using A36 round bar. Dimensional specifications are governed by ASME B18.31.3. A307 all thread rod is available in hot dip galvanized finish, which provides a corrosion resistant zinc coating.
