Nitro Spiral Point taps are designed with angled flutes at the cutting end. These flutes propel the cuttings forward and down, away from the tool which reduces loading and clogging in the flutes. This feature plus the excellent shearing action of the flutes make the Spiral Point tap ideal for production tapping thru holes. For best results and longest tool life, always use with cutting fluid.
