G-Clip describes an assembly of fastener parts, each containing three common parts. First is a G-Clips unique top for better holding strength. Second, a G-Clips patented bottom connects to the beam underside. A hex head cap screw connects the two, and its length suits the grating height being installed. G-Clip model GM-12 describes an assembly of fastener parts that can be used as a stable base on which to mount other devices to a grating surface. Assembly consists of a 1/2” stud about 3” long, which contains a patented bottom part that holds captive a 1/2″ nut. The top part is a generous-sized plate with a 1/2″ diameter threaded hole, which sits above the grating, and is tightened down to complete the fastener installation. This provides a remaining stud length above the grating onto which can be fastened devices as desired.
